Social housing more green than private sector homes (permalink)

Homes built for social housing tend to be more energy-efficient than those built for the private sector, it has been claimed.

According to Marc Blomfield, managing director of The National EPC Company, which carries out Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) across all sectors, public properties are more likely to receive investment for energy-saving improvements.
