Welsh housing transactions were 5% lower than normal in March as banks reduced mortgage lending acccording to the latest LSL Property Services/Acadametrics Wales House Price Index.

Average house prices fell £419 in the last 12 months as rising inflation means house prices are 3.9% lower in real terms since January 2011.
